![]() I told a friend of mine to apply for a job here because she has amazing sales and customer service skills. I worked here for a few months after serving in the military. I do not recommend working at this company, not anymore. My lead position was filled by another new hire. I left because I couldn't stand the way my teammates were consistently disrespected, ignored, and unrepresented. People who I loved and respected left my team because they felt their talent was better appreciated elsewhere, and the production floor saw a revolving series of new hires, most not lasting even a year. Morale was very low, and we no longer had company outings nor were allowed any real opportunity to contribute to the design of any mainline products. For what I can speak on, factory-side, leadership and management was restructured, those wonderful managers and supervisors all either left the production floor or left the company entirely, and we no longer felt included nor listened-to. It all fell apart after the creator of the company left in mid-2018 though. It was a lot of fun! We had monthly production team outings, lots of employee-driven R&D work, I made a lot of friends, and it all felt very cozy and close-knit. It was important to adhere to specific company values, including ensuring product quality, a positive work environment, and a low environmental impact. When I started working in the NBT factory at the end of 2017, it was a wonderful environment with a manager and assistant manager who really made sure we were listened to and taken care of, a safety supervisor on the floor at all times, and the creator/owner of the company popping in frequently to brainstorm new ideas, get to know her employees, and actually teach us hands-on how to make new products. They seem to paint the company as a place where it’s fun to work and everyone is happy and work together to make things work. They put me in a situation where they knew that I was new yet I had to keep asking what I needed to do, how to do it properly, where to put things or labels, etc and honestly was a waste of time. Everyone’s kind of on their own, no direction, no leadership, no teamwork. This isn’t a friendly or inviting work environment. The higher-ups sit in their offices all day and kick back with their feet up in their chairs while everyone downstairs works to the bone. Also no one was washing their hands or changing their gloves or having proper PPE. I was constantly having to run around and try to find managers to ask what my next task was or having to wait because they’re on their smoke breaks every 15 minutes. It seems like they have highly unprofessional managers and higher ups, and an unsafe work environment. Ever after I asked why I was being let go I was not given any reason, just handed my small first and final check. I was fired via email which in my opinion is very unprofessional. ![]() Was promised minimum 3 months of work and ended up getting let go after only working 2 days. Was hired after interviewing for a second time as a temp warehouse associate. ![]()
